Job summary

ECU Health seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support, assist with clerical tasks, and maintain patient records across our Greenville, NC facilities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and substantial MA experience or recognized substitute training.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years formal MA or nurse aide training and a current BLS certificate. This full-time position offers benefits and a daytime schedule, Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm, with no weekends or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may substitute for the High School Diploma.
• One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
• Six months current full-time experience as MA/CMA/CNA may substitute for training.
• American Heart Association BLS Required

• Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.
