Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Grand Junction community for the evening shift (2pm–10pm). You will administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist resident mobility.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor residents, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and communications with families and providers.
• Support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment; partner with HCC on training and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
