Job summary

Grand Villa Assisted Living in Grand Junction is seeking a compassionate QMAP – Evening Shift to join our senior living community. You will administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

The role requires CMA certification in good standing and at least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors. You will document medications, monitor resident conditions, and communicate with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in good standing.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist resident mobility.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
