Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our senior living community. You will administer medications, support resident care, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include documenting medications, monitoring resident conditions, and coordinating with healthcare staff. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, good teamwork, and strict HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing is required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and supporting resident mobility.
• Commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
