Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a compassionate QMAP / Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our Grand Junction, CO community. Shift: 2pm–10pm, full or part time.

You will administer prescribed medications, support resident care, and help create a safe, comfortable living environment. The role requires CMA certification, at least 6 months of caregiving experience with seniors, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• 6+ months caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist resident mobility.
• HIPAA confidentiality and resident well-being are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
• Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow-up communications with families and providers.
• Support residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in training, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
