Job summary

Dubois Continuum of Care Community is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for the evening shift to help ensure residents' health, safety, and comfort. You will administer medications and monitor conditions, assisting with ADLs and personal care while working closely with nursing staff.

We require CMA certification and a HS diploma; strong communication and the ability to work evenings/weekends are essential. Training and professional growth are emphasized in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Current CMA certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary healthcare training a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer and reposition residents with or without assistive devices.
• Evening and weekend shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to residents as prescribed.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including side effects.
• Provide direct care including assistance with ADLs and personal care.
• Assist with vital signs and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current.
