Job summary

Ascension Evansville Hospital is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for Pharmacy Services in the Evening Shift (Part Time). You will evaluate and optimize medication orders to identify and resolve drug-related risks before they reach the patient, and direct the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications.

You will lead clinical consultations with physicians and nursing staff, mentor pharmacy technicians and students, and counsel patients on their medication journeys to support safe, effective

Qualifications

• Indiana pharmacist licensure required within 3 months of hire date.
• Bachelor's or PharmD degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize medication orders to identify and resolve potential drug-related risks before they reach the patient.
• Direct the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications to ensure every patient receives the precise treatment their recovery requires.
• Lead clinical consultations with physicians and nursing staff to provide evidence-based drug information and recommend the most effective therapy alternatives.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians and students, providing oversight and education to maintain a high-performing, safety-focused pharmacy team.
• Counsel patients on their medication journeys, empowering them with knowledge to manage their health after discharge.
