Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for the evening shift to optimize patient outcomes through expert medication management.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a collaborative setting. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient safety, ongoing learning, and involvement in pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and medication safety programs within a regulated healthcare

Qualifications

• Difficult clinical decisions and patient-focused care are required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Clinical judgment and safety culture are critical.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications and IV therapies per policies.
• Develop and monitor individualized pharmaceutical care plans.
• Provide pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations.
• Address clinical alerts in the EHR, including renal dosing and IV-to-PO conversions.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and adverse event reporting.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document interventions and patient care activities per standards.
• Provide drug information and education to professionals, patients, and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds as applicable.
