Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team and optimize patient outcomes through expert medication management.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a collaborative healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will apply clinical expertise to medication therapy management, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and medication safety programs while upholding Orlando Health policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Current Florida Pharmacist license required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications and intravenous therapies per policy.
• Develop and monitor individualized pharmaceutical care plans.
• Provide pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations.
• Address clinical alerts in the EHR, including renal dosing and IV-to-PO conversions.
• Support medication safety programs and report adverse events.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Document clinical interventions and patient care activities per standards.
• Provide drug information and education to professionals, patients, and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds as applicable.
• Maintain policy and regulatory compliance.
