Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• CPI certification due within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred charge nurse experience.
• Minimum of three years behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop plans of care.
• Oversee unit personnel to ensure safe, cost-efficient nursing care.
• Coordinate patient placements and authorize overtime where needed.
• Lead unit projects and coordinate care with medical staff.
• Hire, orient, train, and evaluate department staff.
• Provide guidance to staff on complex issues and address inquiries.
