Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor for the Naperville area to provide leadership for a busy unit on the PM shift (3pm-11pm). This full-time role includes coordinating patient care, directing staff, and ensuring safe, high‑quality outcomes in a multi-hospital system.

The position requires an Illinois RN license, a nursing degree, and CPI certification within 90 days of hire, with preferred prior charge nurse experience and three years in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ condition and develop and administer care plans.
• Oversee unit personnel to ensure safe, cost-efficient nursing care.
• Coordinate patient placement and authorize overtime for direct care needs.
• Monitor workflows for timely admissions and discharges.
• Hire, orient, train, evaluate and discipline staff as needed.
• Provide guidance to staff and resolve department operational issues.
