SolutionHealth is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant – Phlebotomist for the Main Campus Second Shift Lab. This full-time role supports patient care by handling specimen collection and clerical tasks in a busy lab environment.

You will perform phlebotomy, process specimens, verify orders in EPIC, and maintain accuracy from collection to storage while delivering excellent client services. The department operates evenings and weekends on a rotating basis, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient requisitions are complete and accurate.
• Enter laboratory orders into EPIC and maintain documentation.
• Receive specimens and verify patient demographics and specimen types.
• Prepare specimens for processing and labeling.
• Perform routine venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Maintain and review follow up work lists and resolve issues.
