Job summary

Jewish Family Service of San Diego is seeking a compassionate Client Engagement Specialist for the Safe Parking Program at the H Barracks site, 25 hours per week, evenings Tue-Sat, onsite. You will support families experiencing homelessness by guiding enrollment, connecting them to shelter and services, and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

This role requires strong communication, data entry into our system, and the ability to work across languages.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a similar role serving the underserved/unhoused population.
• Proficient with databases and data entry in ETOi or similar systems.
• Ability to work a flexible overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in multilingual environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for Safe Parking participants.
• Guide participants to their parking location as they enter the lot.
• Complete intake tours, paperwork, and data entry.
• Log records and incident reports promptly.
• Communicate concerns to the supervisor as needed.
