Job summary

Brown Foodservice, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver (Class A CDL) to transport trailers to and from our Louisa and Corbin shuttle points. You will be home daily, working Sunday through Thursday starting at 6:00 pm, serving a long-standing team since 1942.

Qualifying drivers can earn a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, with eligibility including experience and clean driving records. This role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and timely deliveries while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must know and adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CDL Class A with a Doubles endorsement is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong communication with management and drivers.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded and unloaded trailers to/from shuttle point.
• Drop and hook trailers as needed.
• Maintain delivery time windows.
• Notify Transportation Supervisor of problems by phone.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip.
• Comply with DOT and company safety regulations.
• Keep electronic logs per DOT rules.
• Adhere to safety policies and professional standards.
• Refuel truck and reefer units when returning to yard.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
