Job summary

CHI Mercy Health in Roseburg, Oregon is seeking a Charge RN to oversee a department of frontline nurses, coordinating care for patients across PCU/ICU. Your prior acute care, LTC, or nursing home experience adds significant value to our nursing team.

Qualifications

• Oregon RN License required.
• AHA BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• Two years recent RN experience in PCU/ICU.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a department of frontline nurses during shift, including telemetry, ACC, PCT/CNAs and RNs.
• Act as Clinical Resource for staff managing complex patients and situations.
• Mentor, coach and support team members to meet patient and unit needs.
• Round with staff and patients to ensure safety, quality and satisfaction initiatives.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• Hold team members accountable to the unit's vision of service, quality and safety.
