Job summary

Grace Skilled Nursing & Therapy - Norman is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead the evening shift 15:00-23:00 and uphold top-quality care with a focus on resident safety and satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership to delegate tasks and monitor care across the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements that need to be made.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.

Education

Oklahoma RN license or LPN license

First Aid & CPR certification
