Job summary

Ranch Terrace Nursing Home in Sapulpa, OK seeks a Charge Nurse for 12-hour rotations. Day and night shifts available. You will supervise nursing assistants and CMAs, ensure care plans are followed, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualified LPNs with current license, strong leadership, and excellent communication are encouraged to apply. The role includes charting, medication administration, and coordinating resident care with physicians.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Good Leadership qualities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Genuine caring for elderly and disabled residents.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants and CMAs in accordance with Nurses Practice Acts and facility guidelines.
• Complete and file required forms on admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Transcribe physician orders to resident charts/EHR and treatment plans.
• Chart nurses' notes to reflect care provided and resident responses.
• Administer and verify medications as ordered and ensure narcotic records are accurate.
• Oversee resident care plans, coordinate with physicians, and respond to incidents.
• Attend in-service and maintain confidentiality of records.
