Glenwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team and ensure top-quality resident care. The role emphasizes safety, wellness, and staff accountability in a Skilled Nursing facility in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• Current OK RN or LPN license.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ year of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility or Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing care for all residents.
• Delegate the shift’s tasks to all of the nurses in the facility.
• Recognize changes in residents’ condition and respond appropriately.
• Supervise Nursing Aides as they complete their assigned tasks and point out any changes or improvements.
• Detect any issues that could result in injuries or other difficulties for residents or staff members.
• Inform physicians of any changes in residents’ progress, condition or medicinal needs.
