Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Central Processing Technician for the Central Sterile Supply team. This evening shift role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing and assembling instruments to uphold patient safety in a high-volume environment.

You will work 3:00pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and alternating holidays, and must have CSPD experience and CRCST certification. Live within commuting distance; on-site presence required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CRCST certification from IAHCMM or CBSPD.
• Prior CSPD experience and familiarity with processing scopes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reprocess scopes in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Sterilize and assemble equipment, supplies and instruments.
• Follow established policies under supervision to support patient safety in a high-volume department.
