NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Central Processing Technician for the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSPD). This evening shift role involves manual cleaning, reprocessing, sterilization, and assembly of scopes and instruments under department policy to ensure patient safety in a high-volume setting.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD required or preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manually clean and reprocess scopes following department policies under supervision.
• Sterilize and assemble equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to support patient safety in a high-volume CSPD.
• Maintain on-site presence and collaborate with the CSPD team during the evening shift.
