Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Certified Central Processing Technician for Central Sterile Supply to join the Night shift at our Columbia University Medical Center location. You will manually clean and reprocess scopes, ensuring safety and cost-efficiency under supervision.

The role runs 11PM-7AM with rotating weekends and alternating holidays, on-site at NYP Columbia. A CRCST certification is required, with preferred CSPD experience and CER certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD is required.

Responsibilities

• Manually cleaning and reprocessing scopes in a safe and cost-effective manner under the direction of the supervisor.
• Execute cleaning, sterilization and assembly of equipment, supplies and instruments following prescribed procedures.
• Contribute to a high-volume department that is crucial to patient safety.
