Job summary

The City of Kings Mountain is seeking a dependable custodian to perform routine building maintenance and cleaning tasks from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, with additional hours during events.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, windows, and fixtures, replace bulbs, stock supplies, and help set up rooms for meetings. Applicants should read and write proficiently and have NC driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write proficiently.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Clean building: vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, clean restrooms and fixtures.
• Replace light bulbs and restock restrooms with supplies.
• Move materials, set up rooms, and transport items for events.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and perform safety checks.
