Job summary

Savage is seeking an Evening Operations Supervisor for our Utah Crude operation in North Salt Lake, UT. You will support the Operations Manager and team by helping them achieve goals on time, engaging in hands-on material transport, maintenance, administrative tasks, and leading projects.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, with a college degree a plus, 1+ years of supervisory experience, CDL Class A, and a willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an industrial setting.
• CDL Class A required with driving experience.
• This is a 24/7 operation, with on-call availability.
• Commitment to working safely at all times.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a working supervisor, assisting with daily operations (including driving a truck when needed).
• Shift starts at 1 pm, with weekend shifts and field support as needed.
• Provide day-to-day support to operators and delegate tasks based on team members' skills and operational needs.
• Ensure effective communication with team members and keep the Operations Manager informed of progress and deficiencies.
• Lead training for new hires and oversee all required training.
• Attend Safety Specialist meetings, visit customer sites to strengthen relationships, and ensure accurate paperwork post-shift.
