Ewald-Automotive-Group is seeking an evening cashier at our Oconomowoc, WI location. The role focuses on friendly customer interactions, accurate transaction processing, and dependable clerical support across departments. You’ll handle payments, issue receipts, and help maintain a smooth, welcoming dealership environment.

Ideal candidates have strong number accuracy, professional communication, and a team-oriented mindset. High school diploma required; dealership software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with cashiering or office work preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the cashier window with professionalism and courtesy.
• Process customer payments (cash, check, and credit card) accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts, give change, and document payment transactions.
• Provide refunds or credit memos as authorized.
• Answer basic customer questions or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns with patience and care.
• Open and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail.
• Print and post internal paperwork as needed.
• Assist with clerical and administrative support across departments.
• Serve as backup to the switchboard operator when needed.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
