Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in California is seeking a part-time Care Provider (Caregiver) for El Dorado Hills. The PM shift runs 2:00 PM–10:15 PM, Mon-Wed, offering vital daily support to residents in a senior living community.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, ensuring dignity and safety, promptly communicating changes, and promoting teamwork within the facility. Training is provided; applicants must meet health and background checks, and comply with care standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must pass criminal background check and health screenings including TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs as per the resident's care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Notify a supervisor immediately of any observed or suspected change in condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
