Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in El Dorado Hills, CA, is seeking a Care Provider (Caregiver) to assist residents with daily living and companionship in a premier senior living community.

The part-time PM shift (2:00 PM–10:15 PM, Mon-Wed) offers competitive pay of $17.00-$18.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more. Experience is preferred but not required, and training is provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear PPE to prevent spread of diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
