Job summary

Wallick Communities in Hillard, Ohio is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver for The Ashford of Sturbridge. This full-time role runs 3pm-11pm and pays $16/hour plus shift differential.

You will provide daily care and personal services, assist with bathing and grooming, and respond to call lights. CPR is required; Nurse Aide certification is a plus. Wallick offers a comprehensive benefits package and an employee‑owned culture.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or in process; Nurse Aide certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provide physical resident care including bathing and toileting.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents and families.
• Encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining, and events.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and repositioning as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
