Job summary

Wallick Communities is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our Toledo, OH team. This full-time role (7am-3pm) focuses on direct resident care, daily living assistance, and helping residents maintain independence in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred; Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions; strong communication with residents and team.
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and daily living assistance to residents.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and toileting as part of personal care.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident/family needs.
• Encourage resident involvement in activities and events.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining, and events within the community.
• Support turning, positioning, and safe movement of residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
