Job summary

Orchard Park Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide direct care to residents. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, help with meals, and monitor residents' well-being. The role requires teamwork with the care staff, adherence to policies, and accurate documentation.

Two part-time evening positions are available (3:00pm-11:00pm, 24 hrs/week). Base pay starts at $17.25/hr for CNAs, with applicable shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred for higher consideration.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Follow shower schedule and support personal care routines.
• Distribute meal trays during meals.
• Record vital signs and monitor residents' health status.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.
• Complete daily care documentation and adhere to Medicaid Waiver reporting.
• Maintain clean, safe common areas and tidy resident rooms.
