Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Modesto, CA is hiring a part-time Caregiver to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and daily activities, while ensuring dignity, safety, and privacy in line with each resident’s ISP.

This role values teamwork and strong communication, with the ability to respond calmly in emergencies. The position offers evening shifts, a competitive $17.00–$18.00/hour pay range, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications; Medication Management certification if required by state.
• Nurses Aide Certification preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including English proficiency.
• Ability to interact with residents, family and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing and dressing.
• Provide safe transport and assist with transfers using proper techniques.
• Support mealtime activities: serving, feeding, clearing trays.
• Perform regular safety checks and report changes in resident condition.
• Complete housekeeping and laundry tasks as assigned.
• Maintain privacy, dignity, and confidentiality; follow ISP.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergencies.
