Job summary

Right at Home in Andover, MN is hiring Personal Care Assistants and HHAs for part-time, late afternoon/evening shifts. You will support seniors and adults with disabilities at home, providing daily living assistance in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• 18+ years of age.
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
• Performing housekeeping duties (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom).
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying client to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, dressing, and personal care activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Providing companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.
