Job summary

Right at Home is seeking weekend and evening Skilled Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join our in-home care team. Part-time positions are available with a competitive pay rate of $17.00 per hour and flexible scheduling to help clients stay in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid drivers license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ambulation/transfers as needed.
• Assists with eating, dressing, bathing and grooming.
• Prepares meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompanies patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, laundry).
• Reminds about medications and supports prescribed routines.
• Assists with range of motion exercises and mobility tasks.
• Provides dementia and incontinence care as taught by a nurse.
