Job summary

Stonehill Communities in Iowa is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for 2nd shift, part-time position (20–59 hours per pay period). Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, providing showering and hygiene support, dressing residents, and managing medication reminders under nurse delegation where applicable.

You will observe residents’ condition, report to the Nurse Supervisor, and complete care documentation accurately within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Complete Mandatory yearly in-service training
• Professional, pleasant and helpful attitude
• Capable of respecting privacy and confidential information

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to enhance quality of life.
• Administer medication reminders and complete nurse delegation as required.
• Provide showering and personal hygiene assistance and dress residents.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Complete care documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resident care policies and procedures.
