Job summary

Stonehill Communities in Iowa is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for 2nd shift, part-time position (20–59 hours per pay period). Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, providing showering and hygiene support, dressing residents, and managing medication reminders under nurse delegation where applicable.

You will observe residents’ condition, report to the Nurse Supervisor, and complete care documentation accurately within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

Description

As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with daily living activities with the goal of enhancing each resident's quality of life. Administer medication reminders and/or medication after completing nurse delegation. Provide showering/bathing and personal hygiene assistance. Get the residents dressed and ready in the morning, evening, and/or as needed. Assists residents with ambulation. Observe and report changes in the residents condition to the Nurse Supervisor. Completes work, and care documentation with accuracy and within a specified time frame. Maintains current knowledge of all applicable resident care policies and procedures.

This position will be scheduled 2nd shift, 4:00pm-9:00pm, and requires every other weekend as well as every other holiday. Holiday pay is at a rate of double time employee's base pay rate.
