Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking an experienced in-home caregiver for evening shifts in Southington, CT. Join a compassionate team delivering non-medical care to seniors from 6pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Non-Medical Caregiver.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Household tasks and light housekeeping when applicable.
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converse with patients to provide assurance.
• Observe Universal Precautions.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Provide laundry and linen changes.
• Meal preparation and cleanup.
• Medication reminders

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone/ Tablet
