Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking an Hourly Companion Caregiver to support clients in their homes in Winchester, CT. This non-medical role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care and building trusted relationships with clients.

You will assist with daily living activities, coordinate with family, manage transportation, and help with meals and light housekeeping. A valid US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet.
• 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable.
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Converses with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes Universal Precautions.
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping.
• Provides medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and clean up.
