Rock Creek Senior Living in Ankeny, IA is seeking a part-time Care Partner to support residents with daily living activities and engage with a warm, empathetic approach. The role covers evening shifts on Wednesdays, with a pay range of $18–$22.25 per hour and opportunities for growth within the community.

The successful candidate will be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds, have basic computer skills to document care, and maintain a compassionate, resident-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Support residents with sitting, standing and walking; assist after a fall.
• Engage residents with empathy and create a positive environment.
• Document resident information and use computer systems.
