Job summary

The Harbor & The Haven in Norwood Young America is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support seniors with daily tasks, mobility, medication administration (training provided) and meaningful activities. You will help maintain independence and dignity for residents in a warm, supportive team environment.

We offer Full-Time and Part-Time evening positions, with wages ranging from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Reliable, compassionate and a true desire to support seniors.
• Be patient and calm, especially in difficult situations.
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, pushing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA/HHA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with mobility, transfers and light housekeeping.
• Administer prescribed medications (training provided) and monitor side effects.
• Engage residents in conversations and life enrichment activities.
