Job summary

The Harbor & The Haven in Minnesota is seeking caring Resident Assistants to help residents maintain independence and dignity. You will support daily living, assist with personal tasks, mobility, and safety, under supervision when needed.

Starting wage ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, with shift differentials for evenings and overnight, plus PTO and eligibility for health and dental insurance after required hours; prior CNA/HHA experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, compassionate and a true desire to support seniors.
• Patient and calm in difficult situations.
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/HHA certification is a plus (but not required).
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and light housekeeping.
• Administering prescribed medications and monitoring for side effects (training provided).
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and life enrichment activities.
