Lahey Clinic Hospital, Inc. in Burlington, MA is seeking a Unit Coordinator for the Cardiology Unit on 5 West. This is an on-site evening-shift role (3pm-11:30pm) with rotating weekend and holiday coverage and no fixed schedule.

Under RN supervision, you will provide clerical support, prepare patient charts, and manage forms and communications using standard computer systems while ensuring patient confidentiality and inventory upkeep.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer skills with standard software for patient data entry.
• Ability to read, spell and write at a high school level.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients' charts and ensures forms are ready for use or review daily.
• Assembles charts for admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Uses computer systems to process physician orders and patient information.
• Maintains bedtracking data to support timely patient flow.
• Answers phones, relays messages, and protects patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
