Job summary

Bellefaire JCB, located in Shaker Heights, Ohio, is seeking a qualified candidate to support the direct care staff and assist in child client therapy programming. This role involves training staff, ensuring safety, maintaining documentation, and upholding ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have at least an Associate’s Degree, with a preference for those holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work.

The position offers an hourly wage of $21 and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees, along with comprehensive health benefits and generous paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance direct care staff skills through positive and effective role modeling and training.
• Assist in administering childcare and client therapy programming.
• Participate in Agency meetings for client assessment and recommendation for continued services.
• Assist in preparing timely reports and summaries on incidents and treatment progress.
• Assist in inspecting and managing unit resources, including safety hazards.
• Maintain training, certifications, and licensure requirements.
• Contribute to the development of the clinical record through timely documentation.
• Respect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain ethical and professional conduct.
