Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for a College Campus in Manhattan, NY. This full-time role involves supervising security staff on a Friday–Tuesday evening shift, coordinating service delivery with site teams, and ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to prepare reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs
• Must be able to read and understand operating procedures
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Valid Driver’s License with driving experience and clean record
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle crises calmly and professionally

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift
• Coordinate delivery of quality services with site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment guidelines
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat handwriting
• Read and interpret operating procedures and instructions
• Handle diverse environments and physical requirements on site
• Maintain exceptional customer service and effective communication
