Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Former NYPD or NY Corrections experience is preferred.
• Valid NYS Armed Guard License is required.
• Valid NYS Concealed Carry Permit is required.
• TWIC card preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of security services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Coach, recognize and discipline staff within empowerment guidelines.
