Job summary

Cary Academy is seeking an Operations Technician for 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm) to maintain campus cleanliness and support campus events. Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown of events.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, with preference for education-sector experience. The role supports weekend events on a rotating basis and requires safe handling of cleaning products and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of cleaning/janitorial or related experience preferred.
• Experience in an educational setting is a plus.
• Equivalency: related education/experience may substitute for requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks to keep campus safe, clean, and sanitary (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting).
• Restock restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Assist with event setup, support, and breakdown of campus activities.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations and assist with weekend events on a rotating basis.
• Operate, maintain, and store cleaning tools and equipment safely.
