Job summary

Cary Academy is seeking a part-time Campus Safety Associate to patrol 65 acres, monitor eight buildings and athletic facilities, and collaborate with the Campus Safety Manager to protect students and staff.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, badge control, camera monitoring, and coordinating parking during events. Candidates should have a high school diploma and security experience, with relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of security experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations.
• First Aid/CPR & AED, Non-Violent Crisis Prevention, Trauma Informed Care certifications preferred or able to obtain.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills; ability to work with students, staff, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Patrols campus grounds and buildings to ensure safety.
• Act as first responder to emergencies and crises.
• Write incident reports documenting thefts, injuries, vandalism, and alarms.
• Monitor perimeter doors and campus camera system; badge verification.
• Assist with parking during events; coordinate with Campus Operations staff.
