Job summary

Cary Academy is seeking a part-time Campus Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe campus environment and assist with event setup and breakdown. The role supports various operations across the campus and requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team of staff and vendors.

Ideal candidates have cleaning experience, basic English literacy, and comfortable use of standard computer tools. The schedule is on-site and includes some after-hours or weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Cleaning skills in a commercial/educational setting.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English; basic math to mix and handle cleaning products.
• Basic technology skills—email, computer use, and data entry; Windows environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, safe campus.
• Sets up and breaks down events, relocates furniture as needed.
• Responds to routine and emergency cleaning requests with minimal disruption.
• Provides back-up operations support for weekend events as needed.
• Operates and stores cleaning tools safely and maintains supplies.
• Collaborates with staff to support campus operations and safety.
