Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service a residential community in Fort Lauderdale. The role operates under limited supervision and performs routine maintenance and repair of building mechanical systems and equipment inside and outside the property.

The technician will schedule vendors, maintain maintenance records, and respond to emergencies while adhering to safety standards. HVAC experience is desirable; after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification(s) preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to react and address emergencies within 30 minutes; after-hours work may be required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors/contractors for repairs beyond routine maintenance.
• Maintain a maintenance schedule and service due dates.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Routinely inspect mechanical systems and building areas for proper function.
• Complete work orders using the KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in related tasks.
