Job summary

Walsworth - Fulton, a family-owned printer in Fulton, MO, is seeking a Bindery - Assistant to support the production of magazines, catalogs, and other print materials. You will learn bindery operations on equipment like perfect binding and stitcher equipment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs. This role is on-site, hourly, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative team

Responsibilities

Read and understand Bindery Department policies, procedures, and job tickets to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
Follow verbal instructions from operators, leads, and managers to incorporate into daily responsibilities.
Apply basic troubleshooting skills to address machine or process issues.
Meet and exceed department production rates and efficiency goals.
Perform routine quality checks to ensure print consistency and document results.
Collaborate effectively in a team environment, helping to ensure smooth operations and meeting production deadlines.
