Job summary

Walsworth in Fulton, MO is seeking a Bindery Operator I to join our Fulton facility on 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm, Mon–Fri) and support a fast-paced bindery team. You will set up, run, troubleshoot and maintain equipment, lead crew members, train new operators and collaborate to meet quality and production targets.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in a bindery, with preference for 1+ year as Bindery Operator I or II.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in a bindery role.
• At least 1 year as a Bindery Operator II, or previous Bindery Operator I or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and maintain your assigned bindery equipment.
• Lead and coach crew members during each shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment using company procedures to keep quality high and production on schedule.
• Read job information carefully and apply department policies, procedures and instructions correctly.
• Meet or beat department and company goals.
• Keep accurate counts.
• Train new bindery operators and crew members.
• Watch production and quality, and suggest process improvements.
• Follow all Walsworth safety procedures.
