Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Three years of related experience and/or education preferred in corrections, criminal justice, human services, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide security, supervision, and behavioral support to adult correctional clients.
• Monitor resident whereabouts and behavior.
• Build professional, appropriate relationships with residents while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Conduct facility checks and help maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Assign and supervise resident activities.
• Supervise meal preparation and household chores.
• Complete progress notes, daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Shop for resident food and sanitation supplies.
• Help create a therapeutic environment that encourages positive behavioral change and resident success.
